# New features

TapConnect now support Combi-Products. Combi Products replace the Interoperable Products functionality and provide an easier way of sharing and combining product definitions between PTOs. You can find this option on the Product Definition page. Be sure to use api version 6 when creating tickets for combi products.
On the Sales Channel page, a new section Interoperable Product Group Planning allows you to share your products with other PTOs to create Combi Products.

Product definitions of live products can now be changed. Changes made to the product definition will take effect immediately after the sales catalog is updated. Existing tickets remain unchanged — the new definitions apply only to tickets created after the update.
You can change the sales period of a product, even when it has been live and the sales period is expired.

Checks were added to earlier versions of the Issuing API to prevent use of functionality which is only available in newer versions of the endpoints.
